Project Summary:

At SafetyNet Technologies, we’re incredibly grateful to have been supported by Expo 2020 Dubai. Their funding allowed us to establish a production line for Pisces LED lights back in 2020 and commercially launch the product in 2021. As a result of our effective production line, we had a fully stocked inventory of 72 Pisces kits and have built sales traction. Additionally, a stocked inventory has allowed us to carry out more scientific studies on the potential of LED lights in bycatch reduction in commercial fishing. Building upon the technical success of Pisces, we also started developing an oceanographic sensor that can attach to fishing gear.
